Drop in fuel prices to run until July

Fuel prices have decreased across the board effective from midnight.

The prices of unleaded petrol, premix, kerosene, and diesel and LPG products were reviewed and the new prices were determined by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Motor Spirit decreased by nine cents to cost $2.00, diesel prices decreased by seven cents a litre to retail at $1.82.

Premix will retail at $1.84 cents a litre – a decrease of eight cents.

Kerosene has dropped by nine cents to $1.54 a litre.

The 4.5 kg cylinder of Liquid Petroleum Gas has fallen by 92 cents, selling at $12.89 while the 12 kg cylinder will now cost $34.37 – a decrease of $2.47 cents.

Auto gas has reduced by 12 cents to $1.62 and bulk has fallen by 18 cents retailing at $2.41 per kg.

The 13kg cylinder will now retail at $37.23 – a decrease of $2.68.

FCCC chief Executive, Joel Abraham says the drop in prices until July 14th has been determined by the movement in the international prices for Petroleum and LPG products since the last quarter.
