Former Fiji 7s player Amenoni Nasilasila facing a rape charge will stand trial in two weeks.

Nasilasila appeared before the Suva High court this morning.

The 26-year-old is alleged to have raped a 24-year-old woman in Olosara, Sigatoka on December 22nd last year.

The trial will be heard at the Lautoka High court.

The four-day trial will commence from 16th September.

The matter has been adjourned to 6th September for a pre-trial conference.
