A 27-year-old farmer from Kadavu charged with murder has been further remanded by the Suva High Court.

It is alleged that Mosese Koroi Sigabalavu assaulted his 23-year-old de-facto partner in Nasese on July 5th which resulted in her death.

In court yesterday the state said that all information has been filed and disclosures were yet to be filed.

In response, the Judge stated that there is no rush in the case and granted state 14 days to file all disclosures.

The Judge added that murder is a serious crime and trial dates will be fixed for sometimes next year.

The matter will be recalled on September 9th for plea.
