Suva lawyer Shazran Lateef

Suva lawyer Shazran Lateef has been granted bail following his third appearance in Suva magistrate’s court on drug-related charges.

The court heard that after a raid in a Suva hotel room last week, Lateef was taken into police custody and charged with possession of 9.5 grams of Methamphetamine and 3.5 grams of Marijuana.

Lateef also faces similar charges from two previous arrests and one count of breaching his bail conditions.

The matter has been adjourned to June 17^th for plea.
