Chinese Ambassador to Fiji Qian Bo says they were disturbed by rumors that Chinese nationals were involved in the alleged abduction of a 13-year-old boy in Lautoka last month.
Bo says there are facts that Chinese nationals were not involved.
“Chinese people are very nice and peaceful people. They don’t get into a fight and to rob people.”

Bo says if Chinese nationals were involved, the Fiji Police Force should act according to the law and they will also play a role in this regard.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho clarified that the 13-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted in March was not telling the truth.
