Government is committed to providing the necessary assistance towards the Agriculture sector and urges all farmers to take advantage of this.

This was stressed by Agriculture Minister, Inia Seruiratu while ending his tour of the Central Division last week.

Seruiratu says the Government machinery is always available and farmers should make the most of it.

He adds Government has big plans for agriculture in Fiji.

Farmers were also assured of the Ministry’s assertion to improve its service delivery in order for Government to meet its obligations to feed the Fijian people with the right nutritious sources.

The Minister adds Agriculture has a lot to contribute to the economy.
