Health Minister Rosy Akbar has reiterated that Fijians must be responsible towards their health.

Akbar is encouraging the public to not take their health for granted.

She says too often people think they are immune to sickness until it’s too late.

The Minister made this statement while officiating at the Juvenile Northern Camp at Bethel Christian Primary School in Labasa.

Akbar says the camp is a good platform to mould young children to be ambassadors of good health.

The camp is being hosted by the Ministry of Health in partnership with Diabetes Fiji, Rheumatic Heart Disease Program, the Tuberculosis Unit and Medical Services Pacific (MSP).
