The Land Transport Authority is urging drivers to adhere to road rules as this is the time of the year when most accidents occur.

LTA CEO Naisa Tuinaceva says enforcement officers will be out on the road monitoring vehicles over the festive season.

“For those that think of over speeding or making stupid activities or actions on the road they will face the full blunt of the law and we want to ensure the people of Fiji are enjoyed this festive season”.

Members of the public are advised to report any reckless driving that can lead to accidents at any LTA office or police station.
