Bainimarama takes commanding lead in polls

Prime Minister and FijiFirst leader Voreqe Bainimarama continues to take a commanding lead in the final polling results, raking in 121,130 votes from 1, 240 polling centers.

Social Democratic Liberal Party leader Ro Teimumu Kepa is in second place with 30, 579 votes of the 301,187 votes tallied so far.

Trailing at third place is FijiFirst General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum with 7,733 votes.

Niko Nawaikula of SODELPA is in fourth place with 5,329 votes.

In fifth place is National Federation Party leader Biman Prasad with 4824 votes.

Tui Cakau and SODELPA candidate Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu is in sixth place with 4,101 votes.

FijiFirst candidate Ruveni Nadolo is at seventh place with 3, 915 votes

Ratu Inoke Kubuabola – also of FijiFirst is currently in eighth place with 3748 votes and Dr Mahendra Reddy also from the same party has managed to secure 3,267 votes and sits at ninth place.

SODELPA’s Mosese Drecala is in tenth place with 3,168 votes and People’s Democratic Party’s Ilaitia Vuniyayawa is in 11th place taking up 2,903 votes.

Viliame Tagivetauwa of SODELPA now has 2,800 votes from those tallied so far.
