The Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji has welcomed the safe release of 45 Fijian peacekeepers who were held in Syria.

Sabha spokesperson – Kamlesh Arya says its members prayed with the nation since the soldiers were taken captured two weeks ago.

Arya says the Sabha also expresses its deep appreciation to all the agencies and individuals who were engaged in talks to secure the release of the soldiers.
