Six districts have been registered to take part in the Vodafone Futsal Western division league from next weekend.
Lautoka. Ba, Tavua, Nadi, Nadrgoa and Rakiraki have been registered to take part in the league.
Sepaking at the launch, Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel says he hopes the districts will show full commitment to the league as everything is being catered the parent body.
“We are paying for all the uniforms of the team, court hires and also the referees’ payments to make sure the districts are not burden. The districts have to put their effort in to if they want to get the best players for their teams. This is where they will find skilled and talented players coming through.”
Meanwhile, four teams from the Central, three from Western division and one from North will qualify for the Inter District Championship which will be held in October.
