The province of Kadavu had received three million dollars from the government for development work on the island.

Roko Tui Kadavu Eroni Vunisa says the funds will be used to upgrade roads from Vunisea to Nabukelevu i Ra ,Namara and Tavuki .

“At the moment, movement within Kadavu is so expensive and we need a lot of money to evolve these development but apart from the general development Provincial Administrator Kadavu is working on all development that’s include road upgrading.”

About 75 per cent of the Kadavu population of about 10,000 people do not have access to roads and use fibre glass for transportation
