Real Estate Agents Licensing Board is calling on all registered agents to abide by the Real Estate Agents Act 2006.
REALB chairman, Dr Abdul Hassan says several complaints were lodged in relation to this.
He says the issue has to be addressed immediately.
Hassan says REALB has received several complaints about agents engaging employees who are not registered as a salesperson with REALB.
Dr Hassan says these employees are not allowed to carry out listing of properties and undertake field visits to meet the prospective vendors or inspect the properties.
He says the agents who are involved should cease with such practice and follow the rules and regulations.
Meanwhile, the Board has decided with effect from next Monday all the real estate agents to submit required documents certified true copies as per the checklist when lodging their applications.
