Beverage Company, Paradise Beverages has invested over forty million dollars in capital improvement at its Suva brewery in the last five years.

General Manager Mike Spencer says they acquired the business in 2012.

He says despite losing millions of dollars in two separate fire incidences it did not deter them from investing further.

“So we put a brand new brew housing, brand new packaging line and on top of that we are upgrading the facility for our staff. So we got our state of art cafeteria, a state of art bar, state of art gymnasium opening shortly, and brand new offices and amenities so we are trying very hard to make it a premium place to work.”

Last April, the Carpenters Warehouse and office complex in Walubay, Suva caught fire causing significant damage to the Brewery’s newly constructed office adjacent to the building.

The office is expected to be reconstructed by August.

Meanwhile, the storage area which was damaged in the second fire last November will now be turned into a warehouse.
