The national road death now stands at an estimated 60 with a driver of a four-wheel drive the latest fatality on our roads.

Yesterday, Police received a report of an accident involving a four wheel drive and a Pacific Transport bus at Uciwai settlement, Queens Highway, Nadi.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirms the 20 year old driver of the four wheel drive has died with a passenger from the van admitted to hospital in a critical condition.

Naisoro says details of this accident are being investigated.
