Nadi murder case transferred to Lautoka High Court

Eroni Vaqewa and Emoni Saukiwere have been charged with one count of murder each.

Two men who are charged with the murder of 23-year-old Isikeli Rabuka appeared at the Nadi Magistrates Court today.

Eroni Vaqewa and Emoni Saukiwere have been charged with one count of murder each.

It’s alleged the two men in their 30s had beaten Rabuka to death during a drinking session on the 1st of this month.

The two men have also indicated in court that they will be seeking private legal representation for their case.

The case has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court and will be called next Wednesday.
