Alleged drug smugglers in court again

The four men alleged to have facilitated the export of close to $1.5 million of cocaine to Australia fronted the Lautoka High Court today.

The four men alleged to have facilitated the export of close to $1.5 million of cocaine to Australia fronted the Lautoka High Court today.

Dutch National Marc Winston, Shaneil Autar, Roshneel Kumar and Pravishek Narayan have been charged with one count each of unlawful possession and supply of illicit drugs.

Winston and Autar have also been charged with one count of unlawful exportation of illicit drugs.

In court today, the Prosecutor sought more time to file the information and disclosures.

They also informed the court that they will need more time to respond to the bail application of two of the accused.

The matter will be called again on the 10th of December.

The four men have all been remanded.
