The Team Wellington football side have classed themselves as underdogs heading into the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League final clash against Auckland City this weekend.

Team Wellington Coach Matt Calcott says he is impressed by his player’s achievement in reaching the final on their debut appearance in the competition.

Calcott says his side will give Auckland City a run for their money in the final.

“We’ve had a few games against them (Auckland City) this year and we have done okay so we don’t have anything to fear. They are the benchmark and reigning champions and they’ve been to the World Club Championships but we’ve got some good players as well so it will be a great day for New Zealand football in Fiji.”

Auckland City will face Team Wellington in the final of the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League at 7pm on Sunday at the ANZ Stadium.
