The Fiji Police Force is determined to win back the Sukuna Bowl from rivals, Army.

Vodafone Fiji today gave $20,000 to the organizing committee for the annual tournament.

Commissioner of Police, Ben Groenewald says the Men in Blue are optimistic of their chances to win the coveted log of wood which Army won last year.

“Sport can unite people and I am in agreement with that so thank you very much. It is indeed for us a privilege to be part of the Sukuna Bowl. It is one major sporting events within Suva and we are looking forward.”

The Sukuna Bowl tournament will be held in Suva on October 14th to the 18th.
