South Africa names squad for World Cup

South Africa 7s coach Neil Powell has named a side laden with international experience for the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco next weekend.

Kyle Brown, Cecil Afrika, Chris Dry, Seabelo Senatla, and Tim Agaba were all ruled out due to injury, while Kwagga Smith was not considered because of his involvement in Super Rugby.

Captain Philip Snyman will become the first South African to play in three World Cup.

The tournament will be held from 21st to 23rd of this month at AT&T Park in San Francisco, USA.
