With COVID-19 restrictions in place, Netball Fiji management is re-designing its plans for the sport.

Netball Fiji newly appointed president RubyAnn Sorovaki says they have alluded to strengthening policies that guide NF by increasing participation at all levels of netball.

This is from players to volunteers, leveraging off partnerships to drive Development and Technical areas of the game.

Sorovaki says the aim is to strengthen these areas which has allowed them to talk, meet and review and reassess on their next step.

“We have come in and we have actually just focusing on strengths and the things that help us get a foot on so basically we are just looking at guidelines  and policies that guide netball Fiji, ideally we would like to increase participation and building capacity of all our people at all level.”

Sorovaki says a sub-committee has been set-up to liaise with the relevant people to get an idea on this.

NF anticipates that the Ministry of Education will have some direction on sports activities once school resumes.
