Ireland wins over Wales Six Nations

Ireland maintained their unbeaten 2018 Six Nations record with a 35-27 victory over Wales at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin this morning.

The Irish kept the pressure on the visitors throughout the match scoring a total of five tries while the Welshman were able to score three tries only.

The historic match was Warren Gatland’s 100th game in charge of Wales, but Ireland spoiled the occasion for their former head coach.

Welsh title hopes are effectively at an end after losing to the Irish in the Six Nations for the first time since 2014.

Wales will face Italy in their next encounter.
