The defending champions of the Courts Inter District Championship, Lautoka has been drawn in the pool of death with Labasa, Ba and newly promoted Nasinu.
Host Suva takes in-charge of Pool B alongside Nadi, Rewa and Dreketi or Tavua.
The Dreketi and the Tavua football sides are currently placed at the bottom of Vodafone Premier League table and one of it will be relegated to the Premier Division plus will miss the IDC tournament.
Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel says the sponsors have also increased the total investment to 120 thousand dollars which will benefit the districts.
“The prize money for Premier Division is 20 thousand dollars to the winner and for the Senior Division its seven thousand dollars. This is something that is very exciting for the districts to fight for in the tournament.”
Meanwhile in the Senior Division, Nadroga leads group A with Navua, Taveuni and Seqaqa or Rakiraki.
Tavua or Dreketi will take in-charge of group B and is pooled with Lami, Savusavu and Tailevu Naitasiri.
The IDC will take place from 5th to the 10th of October at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
