Baber anticipates tough pool matches

February 1, 2018 5:11 pm

Fiji Airways mens 7s coach Gareth Baber believes Australia will be toughest team to beat in their pool games in the Hamilton tournament this weekend.

Baber says while they have good history against the Aussies, his side won’t forget Australia’s recent victory in the Sydney 7s.

“We played Australia several times last year. We are having some winning margins against them and they have had time together. They had time to make their mistakes and they progressed and I would say that’s the same for any team.”
