In the final Sauduadua finished fifth with a time of 48.14 seconds.

Rodan says it’s quite impressive considering just 6 weeks ago Sauduadua tore his hamstring in the 200 metres trials.

‘We hope for the best, at the same time we are still trying to keep him fresh and fit, ready for the Pacific Games in two weeks’ time’.

Sauduadua who is the senior boys 400 meters Coca Cola Games record holder will be in action at the Pacific Games.

The first group of Team Fiji Athletes for the Pacifc Games in Samoa will leave our shores next Friday.
