*There is a need for more assistance to be given to the Ex-servicemen Aftercare Fund in Fiji.
Spinal Injuries Association of Fiji’s President Josko Wakaniyasi says his organisation has been assisting the ex-servicemen since 2010 but more needs to be done.
Josko made these comments last night when Vodafone Fiji ATH Foundation handed over $5,000 worth of mobile capability equipment such as wheel chairs, walking canes, diapers and other aid equipment to the Association.
“The sacrifices that were done by these individuals that is now asking for our input, our help and assistance is great. It’s one that is practical and to be honest if we could do more, because there is more needed, we would do it without hesitation.”
The handover was done at My Suva Park last night.
