Fifty new jobs are expected to be created in Savusavu upon the completion of a new commercial complex.

Developer, Irshaad Samad says they are extending the current building.
Samad says it will cater for seventeen more outlets and will house a coffee shop, food court, jewellery store, handicraft shop and many other retail stores.

He says so far they have invested more than a million dollars.

“Savusavu is now a thriving place, tourism is thriving, lot of cash flow and we had a lot of space left and we were wondering what to do with it and now the time has come to develop.”

The building which is located in Savusavu Town is expected to open by February.
