MIOT withdraws Cath lab and CT scan services temporarily

The Cath lab and CT scan services at the MIOT Pacific Hospital have been temporarily withdrawn.

MIOT Pacific General Manager David Qumivutia, says steps have been taken due to certain technical supplier issues of consumables.

Qumivutia says they are working with suppliers and technical support providers to normalize services at the earliest.

In the meantime, the staff working at these two departments have returned to India.

A cath lab is an examination room in a hospital or clinic with diagnostic imaging equipment used to visualize the arteries and chambers of the heart and treat any stenosis or abnormality found.
