Fiji can better its economic growth by enhancing a number of key sectors.

President of the Asian Development Bank, Takehiko Nakao while commending Fiji’s fiscal stability notes that the country’s growth continues to be modest.

“Especially in industries like Tourism Industry and this country has a great potential of those things and also because of the Internet connectivity now available, the country can promote the business process outsourcing or call centers.”

Nakao is in Fiji on a pre-visit to assess meeting venues with the ADB to hold their annual meeting of Governors in the first week of May.

The Fijian government has allocated $10 million to host the international forum which is expected to have more than 3,000 delegates in attendance.
