The Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation on Friday conducted Industrial Relations and Human Resources Training.

The training is for its members and the business communities in Labasa.

The training was organized for the management and business leaders in Labasa to be well versed and to understand the implementation of the Accident Compensation Commission Act 2017 and the amendments of the Employment Relations Act 2007.

The Federation recognizes the importance of maintaining proper and consistent information for its members to be able to design compliant policies and processes to deal with industrial relations and support human resources in the workplace.

The training was conducted by the Federation’s Industrial Relation Consultant, Noel Tofinga who is both a trainer and practitioner and has vast experience in dealing with IR and HR issues locally.
