This educational initiative will provide full academic scholarships worth the maximum value of $100,000 per year for up to two years.

The new programme offers opportunities for scholarships at various levels of study and is open to all academic disciplines.

The application period for the Study in Canada Scholarships will open in January 2020 with the application submission deadline of March 20, 2020.

The first cohorts of funded students are expected to begin classes in September 2020.

The Study in Canada Scholarship is aimed at diversifying and enriching Canada’s education engagement with international partners, through deepening people to people ties, building institutional linkages and strengthening bilateral relations with Fiji.

Canada is also home to approximately 18,000 Fijian Diasporas.
