Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has delivered on a promise made to the children of Dilkusha Home in Nausori some 2 weeks ago.

During a public event, Bainimarama met with the children and asked what they wanted for Christmas.

One bright child piped up that they needed a new bus to get places.

Bainimarama personally delivered the gift today.

“Archana Reddy told me your home was in dire need of a new mini-bus to get to get the children where you needed to go. She taught me a few things, she didn’t ask for any new clothes or toys for the rest of you’’.

Instead she asked for something to improve not only her life but the lives of those around her.”

The old Dilkusha Home bus has been out of operation for sometime.

The new bus cost around $120,000.
