A fourty-three-year-old man was produced in court yesterday for his alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery in Namadi Heights.
The matter was reported at the Samabula Police Station last Tuesday that two unknown persons had allegedly entered a home occupied by a fourty-two-year-old woman and her eighteen-year-old daughter.
The two suspects allegedly stole cash.
Investigations carried out by officers led to the arrest of two men aged fourty-three and thirty-two years on Monday.
The thirty-two-year-old suspect was questioned and released whereas the fourty-three-year-old was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.
The accused was produced at the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.
He has been remanded and the case has been transferred to the High Court for bail application on the 5th of July.
