The Social Democratic Liberal Party has a new interim General Secretary.

Lawyer Adi Litia Qionibaravi has been appointed after Pio Tabaiwalu’s contract expired last month after he chose not to renew it.

SODELPA President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu says Adi Litia’s experience as a Barrister and Solicitor and an accomplished career civil servant makes her well qualified to lead SODELPA with its policies.

Adi Litia in accepting the appointment says her priorities will be to ensure continuing compliance to the Political Parties Decree 2013 as well as other legislations and to complete the implementation of the amendments to the Party constitution which were adopted last year.
