November 26, 2013 5:58 pm

Sam Speight, the older brother of Brumbies winger Henry Speight, has been roped in to the Flying Fijians squad for their clash against the Barbarians this weekend at Twickenham Stadium.

Speight also plays on the wing for Bristol and the British Army sides and has already tasted success against the Barbarians, scoring a hat-trick of tries against them two weeks ago.

The Flying Fijians are facing a reshuffle after several players returned to their clubs such as Timoci Nagusa, Nemani Nadolo, Napolioni Nalaga, Wame Lewaravu, Masi Matadigo and Malakai Bakaniceva.

Apart from Speight, Coach Inoke Male has also brought in Leone Nakarawa, Nikola Matawalu, Netani Talei and British Army second-rower Maku Koroiyadi.

Meanwhile the Barbarians coach Steve Hansen has named a star-studded line-up for the centennial match against the Flying Fijians.

Schalk Burger is one of seven Springboks on the run-on side as well as four All Blacks.

Jean de Villiers will skipper the side, with Samoa’s Gavin Williams at centre. Springboks Pat Lambie will man the fly half position.

The front-row trio will consist of Tendai Mtawarira and Bismark du Plessis of South Africa and Matias Diaz of Argentina.

The match will kick off at 3:30am on Sunday.
