Former national football defender, Samuela Vula, is set to join Labasa for the Courts Inter District Championships.
Vula, who played for Suva until last year, has applied for his release and Labasa will have to fork out around $2000 to secure him.
His inclusion should boost the Labasa defence, who has some experienced campaigners with its ranks.
The transfer window will close today.
The IDC tournament starts on Saturday, with Labasa playing Suva at home at 2pm, while on the same day, Rewa plays Nadroga at 4pm in Nadi.
Nadi will play newcomers Tailevu Naitasiri at 6pm at home and on Sunday, Lautoka meets Ba at Churchill Park at 3pm.
