Eight COVID-19 community isolation facilities established

Eight COVID-19 community isolation facilities have been established across the country.

Three are in the Central Division and five in the Western Division.

The Health Ministry says these facilities will be activated when divisional and sub-divisional facilities have reached their capacity.

The Ministry says that those tested positive for COVID-19 and are classified “stable” will be transferred to these community facilities for continuous monitoring and medical care.

All Fijians admitted to the facilities will have their meals provided and will not be allowed to have visitors.

• Navua Hospital
• Lautoka Hospital
• Nadi Hospital
• Ba Mission Hospital

Community isolation facilities
• Forestry Training Centre
• Nadi Special School
• Natabua High School
