The Suva football side is still waiting for seven of its seasonal players to attend training as the capital city side prepares for the first leg of the Pillay’s Garments Champion versus Champion Series tomorrow.

Nine players from the team travelled to Spain with the national under 23 team that returned on Monday and only Tevita Koroi and Rusiate Matererega have attended training.

Coach Gurjit Singh has warned the rest of the players to attend training this afternoon or be dropped from the squad for the entire season.

Suva host’s Nadi in the first leg at 7pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.
