Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, Praveen Kumar Bala will appoint three members of a committee that will review the Land Transport Authority.

Bala says the committee will be tasked to review issues that were raised in public consultations and that are contained in a report about LTA.

“This committee will basically see the legislation, the regulations, the laws and the policies that we have. We would like to see that policies are crystal clear so that the ordinary people know what is the policy of LTA, their stuff they know the policy of LTA so that there is no degree of corrupt practice that’s is the whole idea. Once the policy is crystal clear everybody will know what they are supposed to do.”

The committee is expected to be named this week.
