Flying Fijians coach John McKee says Uruguay will be a stronger opposition than the one which lost 68-7 to Fiji 10 months ago.

McKee who has made 12 changes to the run-on team that lost 39-21 to Australia, says Uruguay has been together for a while now and their World Cup preparations will have been focused on this match.

He says Fiji did a lot of good things against Australia but, in the end, weren’t good enough to win that match.

McKee says they are on a four-match series to qualify for the playoffs, so the Uruguay game is a very important part of that quest.

The mentor says Fiji is coming off a short turnaround and with its being Uruguay’s first game, they will have been targeting the Flying Fijians.

The game kicks off at 5.15 pm tomorrow.
