History to be created at Western Chow Games

The Western Chow Games will be the first to introduce the 4 x400 metres relay at primary school level when the competition gets underway on Friday.

This was confirmed by tournament organizer, Tirani Uluinakauvadra, after their annual general meeting, yesterday.

He adds they are prepared for the event as teams will start arriving from today.

“In regards to the preparations, everything is set and the ground has already being marked and we look forward to a good two days of athletics for our primary school students this week.”

There will be nine districts competing for this year’s title.

The two-day event will begin at 9.30am on Friday at the Govind Park in Ba.
