The Fiji Bati team is gearing up for a crucial aggressive and physical match against Papua New Guinea when they go head-to-head in this afternoon’s Pacific Tests.
Coach Matt Adamson says they’re coming in full-force as they know the PNG Kumuls will not be easy to beat.
Adamson says after their 10-0 loss in last year’s Tri-Nations to PNG, the Fiji Bati side knows the Kumuls physicality as heavy hitters in defence and that’s where they’ll try to stop them.
“They quite good. They have a wonderful shape and their strength comes through the middle and we make sure us tying it up that part.”
Fiji takes on PNG at 6pm today at Campbell Town in Sydney while Tonga will take on Samoa at 9.10pm.
