The National Disaster Management Office has confirmed that there are a total of five evacuation centres that are open in the Western Division.

The centres are providing shelter to 77 evacuees from 13 households.

These evacuees are from within the provinces of Nadroga and Ba.

The NDMO is working with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the safe return of evacuees back to their homes.
