Pisi boots Samoa to victory

Samoan fly half Tusi Pisi scored all of their points from the boot to help the side defeat the Vodafone Flying Fijians18-13 at the ANZ Stadium.

The Japan-based player had a clinical game in the kicking department as Fiji was penalized time and again for various infringements.

Fiji managed a try in each half to Nemani Nadolo and Napolioni Nalaga, with Nadolo scoring a penalty and a conversion.

Samoa led 15-5 at halftime.

Both teams played an entertaining brand of rugby to keep the crowd on its feet but handling skills and poor decision-making let the side down.
