" Stop lying to Fijians for political gain."

FijiFirst leader Voreqe Bainimarama has directed these comments to other political parties as he claims this is nothing new as many opposition members in the last government were voted in because they lied to people during campaign meetings.

Speaking to residents of Nakaile village in Tailevu, Bainimarama advised them to be aware of some politicians who will visit them to campaign and spread lies.

He claims the same politicians who lied to them in the last election will use this tactic again during this campaign period to try and secure votes.

With a lot being said about the operations of the ruling government, Bainimarama says they will not condone any of their party members if they’re caught lying to Fijians during campaign meetings.

Bainimarama assured the people of Nakaiele village that the FijiFirst party will continue to deliver what is best for all Fijians and at the same time ensure stability and transparency.
