Corruption perception changing at LTA: Piantedosi

Land Transport Authority, chief executive, Carmine Piantedosi, says the staff are more cautious when it comes to corruption related matters.

Piantedosi says their zero tolerance policy is being taken seriously and any reports on any corruption related matters are dealt with immediately.

“I can say confidently whatever happened in the past is not happening now, we also had a number of staff that have actually told me for example that they have been approached by individuals out there and offered gifts but they have actually told me that they have refused those gifts.”

Last year a few senior officers were charged for corruption related offenses.
