The Labasa football side thumped Rewa 3-0 at home in Subrail Park this afternoon in the opening round of the Courts Inter District Championship.

Taione Kerevanua and Ilisoni Logaivau were the scorers for the Babasiga Lions while Rewa’s Lorima Dau netted an own goal.

Earlier today, defending champions Suva, played to a 2-all draw against Super Premier newcomers, Dreketi.

Tomorrow, the tournament shifts to Prince Charles Park where Ba meets Nadroga at 2pm followed by the clash between Nadi and Lautoka at 4pm.
