A 54-year- old pastor who is charged with two counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault is expected to file a fresh bail application in the Suva High Court today.

Jone Cokanauto remains in custody after he was refused bail by the Nasinu Magistrate Charles Ratakele in the last sitting.

The alleged victims are church members and their names have been suppressed to protect their identities.

The case will be called before Suva High Court Judge, Justice Salesi Temo.
