People have gathered in large numbers to enjoy the local talents with Fiji’s most popular bands at the 6th Corona Uprising Festival of Music, Dance and light in Pacific Harbour.
The event organiser and general manager for the Uprising Beach Resort James Pridgeon says they hope to showcase local flair and offer tourists first class entertainment.
He says the event also showcases both seasoned and emerging Fijian artists with a range of music, dance and movement depicting local culture.
Native Peace Vibrations will be performing for the first time along with other famous band groups.
Among these local talents will be Nickie Colombo out of the Gold Coast, Australia.
A Fijian singer and songwriter known for his guitar playing skills, Jay Hoad will be performing including the famous, Shobna Channel’s group.
Pridgeon adds this festival will represent all cultures through music and dance.
