All parties agree to Court translation

The Fiji Times, its editor-in-Chief Fred Wesley, its General Manager and Publisher Hank Arts, Nai Lalakai editor Anare Ravula and letter writer Josaia Waqabaca’s case was called before the Suva High Court today.

They are all charged with one count each of sedition.

All parties confirmed in Court to agree to the Court translation of the original version of an article which was published in the Nai Lalakai on April 27th, 2016.

It’s alleged the article contained a seditious comment which was published in the Nai Lalakai- the i-taukei edition of the Fiji Times newspaper.

The matter was called today for mention before Judge, Justice Thushara Rajasinghe.

The case has been adjourned to the 13th of this month for mention.
